In the car — hardware rated for the forces that matter
The buckles and load rings are rated 1,500–2,200 lbs of force. Clip into a standard seat-belt adapter at the back ring and the harness holds where a standard plastic buckle can crack. The Eclipse is not crash-tested to an automotive safety standard — it's rated hardware for secure vehicle restraint, not a certified crash-test device.
